Rev. Randy Evans - Senior Pastor
Our pastor, Randy Evans, is a former gerontologist and high school youth pastor. He has a Bachelor's Degree in psychology from Trenton State College in Trenton, New Jersey; a Master's Degree in gerontology (study of old age) from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida; and a Master's in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. After seven years as a therapist in the local mental health center, Randy was asked to join the staff of his church, Countryside Christian Center, in Clearwater, Florida, to assist the pastor with counseling. He was already a volunteer in the youth ministry, so when the youth pastor left the ministry, Randy because the "temporary" high school youth pastor (for the next seven years!). During this time he also taught in the church's Training Center and was soon licensed and ordained through Calvary Ministries International in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1994, he and his wife Becky sensed the Lord calling them to pioneer a church that was more in line with the doctrines of grace that they had come to believe, love and appreciate, hence was born Grace Christian Fellowship in Largo, Florida. Randy's ministerial ordination is now legally held under the auspices of Grace Christian Fellowship.
He is married to Becky, who happens to be the church administrator, and together they have two grown children, Zach and Katelyn.
